Accona Driving Academy

Accona Driving Academy was founded in 2007 by Michael Aldridge. Michael graduated from the University of Birmingham with a Batchelor of Science Honours degree and started his career as a physiologist and lifestyle consultant in London. As a keen driver himself, he completed his driver instructor training in Luton and became a fully qualified Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) in 2005. Michael completed further training with A2OM in 2007.

Michael is passionate about understanding human attitude and the resultant behaviour towards driving and believes that safe driving is essentially a balance between experience, practical skills and drivers’ attitude.

A message from the founder. . .

At Accona Driving, I aim to offer guidance and training to develop all areas of driver safety in a comfortable environment. In doing so, I would like to provide all pupils with the skills not only to pass their practical test, but also enable them to drive safely for life.
